The space
In old wine terraces you will find the Casa Levada, it is a lovely house with an open floor plan over two levels plus sleeping floor. Previously, the family of the winemaker lived here only on the upper floor. Today, the former wine cellar houses the rustically furnished, spacious kitchen with an open fire and the sitting area. A window door brings in enough light and allows beautiful views over the old wine terraces to the Atlantic Ocean. Upstairs there is a double bed under a window from which you can see the sun sinking into the sea in winter. An original bathroom with a maritime flair and another seating area with a small sofa bed create a cozy ambience . A ladder leads to a sleeping loft with a small window. Children or friends can stay here on a double mattress.

Right by the house is a cozy seat among ancient vineyards. Here you can enjoy a Madeira wine with typical honey cake or a homemade, grilled tuna steak.

Bed linen Towels and garden chairs as well as deck chairs available

The house can accommodate 2-4 people (3 adults or 2 adults with 2 children), cot available.
