The space
In the sun-drenched south of the island stands Casa Antiga, a quaint Cretan farmhouse with thick quarry stone walls. It captivates with its interesting expansion, old is artfully arranged with a new, a successful mixture of minimalist charm. Over 100 years ago, the roof and ceiling beams were made by hand from local chestnut. The small kitchen offers everything you need for self-catering. At the open fireplace, which you can fire up with wood which is in stock on the property, you can spend romantic evenings. There is a toilet on the ground floor and upstairs a small shower. The double bed under the rustic roof truss gives a feeling of security. At a small writing desk by the window, you can write a map to the Lieben Home. From all windows, there is a fantastic view of the ocean and the opposite side of the valley. A few steps from the door is a sunny outdoor seating area with a magnificent view. You can have breakfast there or spend nice evenings with a bottle of wine.
